After a couple years of teaching in Africa with the Peace Corps, then 12 more years teaching in Colorado, Linda Guarin was searching for something new when she and her family moved to Asheville. Her love for cooking and her desire to eat healthfully, led her to create a delicious and nourishing snack for her husband and son. She experimented with several flavors, but the chocolate and the peanut butter flavors got the votes from her friends and family. With encouragement from satisfied folks, Linda decided the energy balls needed to be packaged and made available to the local market. We’re glad we can help her distribute these tasty, healthy snack balls.
