Asheville Goods ships via USPS and is not responsible for non-delivery, delayed delivery, incorrect or un-verified addresses, or porch-pirated gifts. We advise against shipping orders to Air BnBs. The addresses for Air BnBs are not always on regular mail delivery routes, and often there is not a package holding area, so your package will be returned. Please let your recipients know to expect a box. Online orders will receive tracking info. You can also download the USPS app to track packages.
Our gift boxes are seasonal and artisanal, so on occasion we may have to substitute one of our goods. But it will always be an equal value, and sometimes more!
Look for the “gift note” field when placing your order. We will handwrite your message on a gift card. Don’t forget your salutation and closing. This is the only place the sender’s name appears. Packing slips are not included in the shipping box. And the return address on the box is Asheville Goods. If you miss the gift option while ordering, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your short message and order number. Please give us a few details like your name and the recipient’s name. You can also call us at 828-252-9175 or 828-775-3775 so we may help you.

All items are shipped via USPS Priority. Each gift box is shipped separately. Allow 1-3 days for delivery. Orders placed before 10 a.m. on weekdays are generally shipped the same day or the following day. We do not ship on weekends.
You may order ahead and designate a shipping date or delivery date in the “Note to Seller” field, but your order must be placed at least 3 days prior to your preferred ship date. If for some reason we cannot make your ship date, you will be notified as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to make that happen.
During December and depending on the number of boxes in your shopping cart, your order may take 8-10 days or more before before shipping. You should receive an order notice within 15 minutes of completing your online order. If you do not, please check your spam folder first before sending an email inquiry. You will not receive any notices regarding your order between the time the order is received and when it is shipped/scanned by the Post Office. Please check your spam folder for the automatically-generated shipping and tracking notices. In December, holiday orders are shipped in the order received as best we can, so there could be 100 orders ahead of yours that day. There are normally less than 16 shipping days in December during which we ship over 1000 boxes. We are a very small business, and December generates 85% of our annual sales. Please be patient.
Please check your shipping address before completing your order. We are not responsible for packages returned due to incorrect, outdated, or incomplete addresses. If your box is returned, we will try to contact you for a new address, but you are responsible to pay the new shipping fee, and the box will not be shipped until the fee is paid. You will not be reimbursed for the cost of the box.

Please note – Local delivery will not be available after December 1. Please see below regarding “Pick Up”. We generally have a parking spot available in front of our shop or would be happy to bring it outside to your car if needed.
Local delivery to central Asheville locations (within a 3 mile radius of downtown) is available for single and bulk orders, and pricing depends on the number of boxes delivered and the address. Call to discuss. Pricing ranges between $15 for a single box to $200 and higher for very large orders depending on milage.
Sending a box to someone in Asheville? The shipping price is $12.00 (+tax) for Asheville zip codes. And boxes arrive the following day!
If you’re in Asheville and would like to pickup a box to take with you or deliver yourself, please follow these steps to choose the free “Local Pickup” option: On the check out page where you enter your billing information, there is a checked box that reads: “Send to a different address.” Please, uncheck this box, then the Local Shipping option will come up along with shipping to your billing address. Check the Local Pickup option. Please include a note in the “Note to Seller” field with the the date you’d like to pickup, or call us at 828-252-9175 to arrange a pick-up time at our packing and shipping shop at 7 Brevard Road. That’s in historic west Asheville, just off Haywood Road. Your order must be paid for prior to pick-up.

We are happy to create custom boxes except during the month of December. Pricing begins with a box and packing fee ($10 to $12 depending on the size), and then the price of each item selected. We accommodate your requests as much as possible, but please note that our gift boxes are a standard sizes, and we may not be able to fit all your goodies in one gift box. Two large boxes will fit nearly all the goods however! There is also the option to present your goods in a Land of the Sky Market Bag, or canvas bin. Call us at 828-252-9175 and let’s discuss.
IMPORTANT! We cannot take orders for custom boxes after December 1st. Things get crazy around here after that date until the 31st. So please get your customized orders in early. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Asheville Goods items are not eligible for return or exchange except in case of damage or breakage.
We are very diligent in packing our products for shipping, but in the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please email email@example.com. Type DAMAGED GIFT BOX in the subject line and include a photo image of the original shipping box and packaging and of the of the damaged product (s), if possible. Please notify Asheville Goods of any damaged items in your shipment within 48 hours of receiving your order.
If you believe you received a defective or spoiled item, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we may assist you. Type DEFECTIVE ITEM in the subject line. A photo image is helpful to speed up any claims. Please keep all original packaging, and please note that all returns must occur within 14 days of delivery.
You may not return an item if you don’t like it. (But we’re pretty darn sure you’re going to love it all!)
