September 2021 Update

The Delta variant of COVID-19 is taking a toll in our county. Please keep yourself and others safe by continuing to wear masks and getting vaccinated. Masks are required again by all visitors to our shop regardless of vaccine status. AshevilleGoods.com 24/7. Our shop is open for in-person shopping and pickups M, W, Th, 10:30-2:30.

Curbside Pickup

We are happy to offer curbside pickup if you prefer not to come in to the shop. Place orders online with the local pickup option at least 48 hours in advance. We will let you know when your gift box or bag is ready for you to pickup. Call when you arrive, and we will bring your purchases out to you.

Holiday Orders

I really hate to say it, but it’s not too early to be thinking of ordering your holiday orders. We anticipate another very busy season for our shop, but also for the shipping services of USPS and UPS. We will begin shipping holiday orders after the Thanksgiving weekend.  Because of anticipated shipping delays, we will not “hold” orders if the gift note indicates a holiday package. We’d rather gifts arrive a bit early than too late! Please keep this in mind when ordering. Our last day to order for shipped boxes is December 16. We will be open until the 21st for local pickups.

Dear Friends,

I want you to know that Asheville Goods remains open for online and telephone orders, and I will continue to ship gift boxes as long as I can get products from our vendors. I have been going for eight years with support from this resourceful and resilient community. Thank you for your continued business. Dollars spent here support other small local businesses that are struggling to stay open.

We have lost a couple vendors, but we’ve found some new ones too! So some curated boxes have had a few changes, The website is currently up to date, but feel free to call to check the availability of specific items.

September Hiatus!

We’ll be taking an end-of-summer hiatus to prepare for the holiday season from September 13 through October 4.  Pickups and shipping will take place only on Tuesdays and Thursdays during this time.

Local pickup at the packing shop at 7 Brevard Road in West Asheville is always free, and now I offer curbside pickup. Just call with your arrival time and pull up right in front of the shop. Your box will be brought out to you with gloved hands, all the while keeping a safe distance.

Please be assured that the safety of customers and the community is 100% top of mind. I’ve made the decision to stay open, safely, to be able to offer this service. Per usual guidelines, surfaces are kept clean and sanitized regularly; however, even more diligence is being taken during this time. Included with each shipped gift is a note of reassurance regarding clean packing procedures. I’ve researched what is believed to be known hazards, and shipping is a safe choice when you can’t be there in person.

Sending an Asheville Goods gift box is like sending a virtual hug from the Carolina mountains. And during this time of quarantining and social distancing, a box of indulgent goodies for yourself or your brethren is a welcome delight!

Happy Autumn as it is coming on!

In health and gratitude,
Celia
